So, I wrote this pattern a long time ago, but I've revised it for a class I'm teaching. The lifted increases are described more in depth, and perhaps it's clearer?
We'll see.

Laura Griffin: Snapped
The newest Laura Griffin. More Delphi Center, strong female, alpha male...
Laura Griffin: Untraceable
A good murder mystery too. Seasoned with strong female and alpha male. ; )
Thea Harrison: Storm's Heart (A Novel of the Elder Races)
Ok, not a dragon but a storm bird this time. Still mystery and magic. And trashy.
Thea Harrison: Dragon Bound (A Novel of the Elder Races)
Really. Trashy and dragons and murder mystery? What's not to like?
Joanna Bourne: The Spymaster's Lady
Such a good book -- not too much steam (a little) but great suspense and no anachronisms. Napoleonic/regency romance. Love it. (*****)
Lisa Kleypas: Scandal in Spring (The Wallflowers, Book 4)
My favorite Wallflowers book -- I love Daisy. (****)
Lisa Kleypas: It Happened One Autumn (The Wallflowers, Book 2)
I'd like Lilian better if the narrator didn't make her sound like 50... not that there's anything wrong with almost 50, but she's supposed to be 20. (***)
Lisa Kleypas: Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, Book 1)
Cam... yum. (*****)
Lisa Kleypas: Seduce Me at Sunrise (The Hathaways, Book 2)
Merripen suffers soooo much... (***)
