If you're not listening to the knitting pod casts out there, well...ok. You're missing some fun, but that's ok. It's up to you. But, even if you're avoiding the pod cast thing, you really should go listen to this stash essay. It is very funny. It's in the middle of Brenda Dayne's Cast-On. Which I really enjoy. And then I found his blog...great knitting themed cartoons. I love the blogosphere. Except it really eats into my knitting time.
Ok, Jeannette. So you wrote out the chart. Man, I shoulda done that, 'cause I really want this shrug! Maybe I'll get on that after I'm done with this one. I'll have plenty of yarn.
Progress shot.
Yes, I'm having to knit from alternating balls so that I don't get a jarring change in color when I change balls of yarn. A good habit when knitting with hand-painted yarn. Beautiful but variable. Is it blue enough, Amanda?
And isn't Shaun White cute! I have two tall red-haired brothers and he reminds me of them...you remember the ones with all the scissors? I really enjoyed the Snow-Boarding competition last night. Check out Nona's entry this morning. What she said. And click the link to the lingo...fun.
Edited to Add: Sorry Jocele! I keep forgetting to mention that since she was my 100 th comment, like a week ago, I'm sending her some Trekking XXL color 68. Thanks for visiting!
Ann I am ADDICTED to Cast-On! I have every episode saved to a CD and listen to it during nap time for my little ones or when there's nothing good on TV at night after they've gone to bed. Brenda Dayne is great - I love her format and guests - everything!
And I get a TON of knitting done while I listen!! That's almost the best part! Podcasts aren't the time hogs that blogs are! :)

I love Franklin's blog ... I met him at Rhinebeck in October, and shocked myself by being all giggly and gushy ... his cartoons are hysterical.
